Annemette Kissow works with Vipp

In cooperation with the Danish ceramist Annemette Kissow, Vipp has launched a ceramics line with seven products. The products were presented last month at the design fair Maison&Objet in Paris.

The new Vipp collection includes an espresso cup, a coffee cup, a teacup, a bowl, a milk jug, an egg cup and a brunch plate. The ceramics line is hand-cast in porcelain with an interior glaze. The exterior is hand-polished to produce a soft surface with a matt appearance.

Jette Egelund, the CEO of Vipp, first met Annemette Kissow in 2005 and has followed her work since then, so when Vipp developed a new kitchen concept last year, it became relevant to cooperate with Kissow on a ceramics line. Annemette Kissow has also been involved in the design of two drinking glasses to match the ceramics series.

Annemette Kissow took part in the Danish Crafts Collection in 2000-2003, and her characteristic porcelain cups, bowls and jugs were marketed at Ambiente and Tendence in Frankfurt and ICFF in New York.
