Kitchen KnivesA series of kitchen knives made of damascened Swedish stainless steel with handles of Cocobola, a type of South American wood. The blade is engraved with the Willumsen-CPH logo and the joint of the handle and blade is sealed with a bronze cuff. The knives are one-of-a-kind. Besides the classic kitchen knives, the series also includes a knife with a handle in durable fibreglass with a modern high tech look. Mikkel Willumsen
b. 1976, Danish Designer
Willumsen graduated from the College of Arts and Crafts, Wood and Interior Department in Kerteminde in 2000. All his knives are manufactured in his own workshop. He seeks inspiration from many places, often from nature and he uses materials as for example high quality steel, carbon fibre, fibreglass, titanium, bronze, silver and wood for the design of his select knife series.
