Milk Jug, Juice Jug and CupsA functional and elegant series of ceramic works made from cast porcelain. This series contains a milk jug, a juice- or water jug, a set of four different-sized cups in a range of bright colors, as well as a vase for a single flower. Fischer’s style is at once light and powerful. She typically works in shades of grey porcelain supplemented by glazes in colors such as brown and turquoise, but also contrasted with more vivid colors such as yellow, lime-green and orange. All her products are produced in exclusive, limited series in her own workshop. |

Fischer graduated from Danmarks Designskole in 1995. She mainly works with dyed porcelain using a technique that lends the finished pieces a highly characteristic surface with a beautifully distinctive texture. Her selection of colors is simple.
