Helene Jensen and Trine Runge Jessen, who make up the design duo Sen-Sen, both graduated from the Kolding School of Design, the Textile Line, respectively in 1997 and 1999. They founded Sen-Sen in 2000 because they felt that the market for textile home accessories could use a breath of fresh air. The two women both want to create products that stand out and have a bit of edge. In their work they twist and rethink recognizable elements and patterns in an effort to create new expressions. Jensen and Jessen draw inspiration from everyday life around them and put a high priority on making the working process fun and enjoyable. They mainly work with wool and produce all their textiles on knitting machines in Denmark.
