SymbioSYMBIO is a series of handmade, white porcelain brooches featuring stringent, graphic ornamentation. Each brooch is elegantly unique, created by bringing together a number of softly-shaped, organic porcelain arms that reach for space or fold over like geometric ornaments. The brooches are individually decorated and are reminiscent of exotic spiders, sea anemones, and corals from the bottom of the ocean. The various series have names like Spider, Knot, and Graphic, and each series is individually decorated with small, regular dots or colored bands following the shape of the brooch. The highly personal jewelry measures 4 x 4cm, 5 x 5cm, and 6 x 6cm. |
