Tree Vase

Tree Vase is a series of three cast vases in different sizes, inspired by nature. Jane Holmberg Andersen describes them as raw and decorative and as “a little piece of petrified nature” that can be brought to life with a single flower. The vases are cast in porcelain and have a raw exterior and a glazed interior. The working process began with plaster casts of branches that Holmberg found in nature. Subsequently, the plaster models were finished and turned into moulds in five parts for slipcasting the vases.
