Kleine Halskrause / limited edition Knotenkette / unlimited editionKleine Halskrause is a unique sculptural necklace from the Limited Edition-series created by Camilla Prasch. Part of the limited series is also the bracelets Fangarm. Only 10 numbered pieces of both Kleine Halskrause and Fangarm are produced. KNOTENKETTE+ is a necklace as well as a series of bracelets and rings made from silicone discs and nylon snaps. The series is monochromatically colored in black, red and white. The pieces are now available for the first time with black silicone discs. Another piece of news is that each piece now comes in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large. The jewelry is also available in a KNOTENKETTE version consisting of dyed nylon thread and nylon snaps. The collections are produced in Camilla Prasch's own workshop, and the thread and poppers are dyed by Prasch herself at the National Workshop for Arts and Crafts. The entire series has a surprisingly light and informal expression. |

Camilla Prasch

Camilla Prasch graduated from Danmarks Designskole, Spatial Design, in 1997. Her exhibitions include the solo exhibition ”Objekter til pause” (Objects for pause) at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 2004 and “Schmuck” (Jewellery) in Munich, Germany in 2004 and 2007. In addition, Camilla has been included in several of the previous Crafts Collections: Crafts Collection 08, 09, 10 and CC+ for MoMA. Camilla Prasch’ main field is conceptual art. Her choice of materials is subordinate to the pursuit of the overriding concept. A consistent feature in her work is the way it addresses the body. The jewellery takes shape and comes to life when it is worn on the mobile, living body. She often creates ready-mades and conceptual objects for the body based on recognisable everyday objects. | By same artist: |
