Texas TieUnique and unusual necklace inspired by ‘bootlace’ or ‘teddy-boy’ ties. The necklace consists of a porcelain ornament with holes and two leather strings that go through the ornament to hold it in place. The necklaces are hand-made. Each individual ornament is drawn up in liquid porcelain, so no two necklaces are alike. Texas Tie comes in several colours with two dyed-leather strings. |
Fabula
Fabula. Est. 2001
Fabula consists of Vibeke Sørensen, Karin Blach Nielsen, Trine Nairn Oldau Krull, and Helene Stockmarr Gerdorf. The group places great emphasis on working with the conditions imposed by their materials and aim to join porcelain and other materials to find a modern expression. Fabula’s fascination with leather as a tactile counterpoint to porcelain once again plays an important role in their latest products: a series of candle holders and one-off jewellery. In recent years, Fabula has received a great deal of acclaim both in Denmark and abroad for the elegant FLOWERBAGS – a series of vases with leather handles, decorated with carefully selected wallpaper reliefs. Today the group has a considerable client list at home and abroad, and their products sell from a number of leading interior-shops in Europe, Japan and the United States. | By same artist: |
