Bowls in glass

My drop-shaped bowls are inspired by the tension between nature and the mechanical – from the clash of opposites that happens for example when a knife cuts an avocado or a pear in half and disrupts the form. The glass bubble is the natural and spontaneous point of departure that I impose on the hard edges with my saw and surface grinder. Hard meets soft and creates new harmony.
