Rings, rugs

A closely knitted blanket in two-layered fulled wool. A patterned side and a plain side. A handsome wollen knitting along the edges joins the two layers. An invitation to fold up or to spread out.

Janne Wendt

b. 1960, Danish Textile Designer

Wendt graduated from the School of Decorative Art in Copenhagen in 1985. She works with hand-printed home furnishings in knitted fulled wool. The basic idea of the products is to unite pattern and form in a whole. The ornamentation consists of circles in various compositions printed in clear light colours like for example orange, pink, kiwi green, light blue, charcoal, chocolate and a rusty red. The products are manufactured in smaller series in her own workshop.
