Transformational Jewellery

The snake, the Flower & the Biscuit is a real piece of transformational jewellery that changes appearance in no time when you vary the silver flower locks. The jewellery can be worn as a necklace or a bracelet as you wish. The necklace or bracelet is made of a woollen snake of 100% merino wool and measures one metre in length.

Mette Laier Henriksen

b. 1972, Danish Jewellery Designer

Laier Henriksen graduated from the College of Arts and Crafts in Kerteminde in 1997 and from the Institute of Precious Metals at the College for Goldsmiths in Copenhagen in 2000. Her latest jewellery centres on the flexibility and changeability of shape, function or colour. The wearer has various options of altering the appearance of the jewellery, making the pieces highly personal. These experiments are based on materials such as silver, felted wool, plexi-glass and silicone that are cast, dyed and made into jewellery in her own studio.
