Rocking-chairThis flatpack rocking-chair reflects the rural roots of Swedish culture. Our origins are reflected in the design, the decorations and the extiles which are in the tradition of Karin og Carl Larsson. This chair is a gift to all youngsters and to new citizens of our countries. The rocking-chair is made of plywood and is sold un-assembled. A cotton canvas cushion with a repeat of rustic motifs is included. |

Elin Basander Lundin
b. 1975, Swedish Industrial Designer
Basander Lundin graduated as an industrial designer from Danmarks Designskole in 2002. She has lived in France, where she studied painting, sculpture and life drawing. Her first qualification as a cabinet maker is clearly evident in the way she combines traditional craftsmanship with modern machine-based techniques. Her products are like self-assembly kits that the buyer has to put together. You might say that she adds an educational aspect to the aesthetic experience of a beautiful design. | By same artist: |
